The wildfires have reminded us to revisit our plans. We live at the tail end of a road – one way in/one way out. If the road is blocked our only option is to take the lake.
I put the blackberry canes I dug up yesterday into pots until we can get a spot ready for them. The dog and I found a beauty berry growing on the edge of our leech field this morning. It has the prettiest bright purple berries.
Made bread and tried a new granola recipe. Will not make it again.
