Finally got my energy directed at making a double batch of homemade laundry soap. We’d used it down to the last. Should have done it when I could have door open…well, I still opened the door but it was a LOT warmer this afternoon. Do not like the smell of Fels Napha when I grate it. Whew! I use: One cup each of OxiClean, Borax, Washing Soda, and Biz. Plus a grated bar of any laundry soap […could use Ivory]. I sometimes double the washing soda. I use my grain grinder’s veggie slice/grate option to grate the laundry soap. Fast and easy.
I put all the ingredients separately into the juice bottles when I buy them, so nothing gets accidentally wet. I also store in the juice bottles when I mix them together as laundry soap. [We’ve had flooding in our basement area too many times to chance my supply]
OldMtWoman ….done for today!
