11/17 and 11/18 Wow! Everyone has been super busy. I’ve been cleaning and de-cluttering. I have donated clothes and excess housewares and bric-a-brac to the Salvation Army’s drive for the homeless. I appreciate the fact that they use the money from what they sell to buy food and warm clothes for them. I need to get my house in shape for Thanksgiving dinner. Baking starts tomorrow. Today (11/19) it is to the market for a couple of things and to take a friend who doesn’t drive. She is hosting a dinner for her friends who have no family to go to. It usually ends up being about 20 people. I am happy to be able to provide her with home grown pumpkin and eggs. I put up my dehydrator until after Christmas now, unless an amazing sale comes up. I am going to take advantage of the low sweet potato prices and can some and freeze some. Mine didn’t do well this year…..too wet.
It’s not much for prepping, but every little bit helps.
