Thanksgiving is ready – just the two of us. I bundled up extra coats, hats, scarves & gloves (2 bags full) our estate agents are collecting those for a “Warm the County” drive. They are also collecting extra food for the food bank, specifically after Thanksgiving because donations are better for big holidays and drop off when the holidays are over. Sorted and put away the latest shopping for food storage – everything was on sale, plus I had coupons on everything we needed. $112 total but paid $49 after discounts and coupons. Taking the car tomorrow for the oil change, etc. just to get it a little more protected for winter. I’m from NJ & Husband is from Minnesota so “winter” has a different meaning on our side of the mountains in WA.
