Had to fix our living room stand light…grandkid was sleeping in chair next to it and I guess he was swinging his arms about or something and caught the lampstand and it fell over busting the glass on the top into a lot of pieces. He went into our guest room and told his mom who had him put a chair over the area where the glass broke…worked great and kept anyone from walking in that area before we woke up and fixed it. Happened in the middle of the night.
So after understanding what had happened we got the stand out of the way and vacuumed up the glass. Then went to Goodwill and found something that could take its place. Took some tinkering but it looks and works fine now. We also had him test the chair out in full recline and made sure there was no way he could hit it again.
While at Goodwill, we found a great pair of gloves for why wife that are warmer than what she has so we got those. Also found some books on cooking that were cheap. Most of my stuff in on my iPad so needed some hard copies just in case.
