Yesterday I was on the register for four hours, thankfully an hour on an hour off, with last minute Thanksgiving shoppers, for the most part very cheerful folks but I was zombie tired last night and fell asleep while knitting in my rocking chair lol. We had a pot luck in the break room and new dishes came in all day long. It was an culinary adventure, from the sublime to the horrifying lol.
Today I am going to my daughter’s where she will cook the Thanksgiving dinner she grew up helping with, and making it exactly like her Momma always made, while I sip the champagne I brought and play with her Corgi puppy and she shoos both of us out of the kitchen, just like I used to do. It’s my favorite holiday, well a little under Christmas.
Tonight I will print up samples of my latest pieces, photo them and add them to my Etsy shop for Black Friday and wish I had gotten everything ready last week.
