Well, by law, this report has to be published. Not much the Trump admin can do about it.
I think the timing is suspect as it was not scheduled to be released until December. Black Friday and all.
The Pairs accord was a joke. Many scientists said it did not go far enough before the ink even dried. It was a warm and fuzzy way to all us to keep on going with our lifestyle while claiming we are doing something. A report about a year ago stated of all the countries who signed the Paris accords, only like 3 or 4 countries were compliant. Really doing something significant would require a complete and total radical change of how we live. Most people are not willing to do it.
As for the wildfires, I heard a On Point interview with a scientist from the JPL. Historically the West and CA are more desert like environment. During the late 1800s and most of the 1900s the region was actually experiencing a wet period. Now it appears it is reverting back to the desert like conditions. Climate change will just make it worse. And, there are a lot more people, sprawl too.
