Apparently we have a serious wind & rain storm coming in. (pray for the Midwest & Northeast!) We cleared off the decks, put away tables and chairs, umbrellas. Checked the water barrels – let off some extra so they wouldn’t overflow. (we have GOT to get two more barrels!) Ran some errands. Had Thanksgiving leftovers for lunch. Set up a 4′ Christmas tree even though grandchildren are far away – we just decided we missed a tree. (convinced Husband we really really did not need a 7′ tree!). Planning a trip to Cabela’s. Found out they don’t give “points” on your loyalty card if you use gift cards. Their thought is you got “points” when you purchased the gift card there. Well. We have never bought a gift card there. We purchase our gift cards at our local department store where we get better rewards. So. That solved the issue of driving 40 minutes to Cabela’s or 30 minutes to Bass Pro Shops. (owned by the same conglomerate) We plan on loading up on reloading supplies, small propane canisters, and possibly warm socks if there are any left after Black Friday.
