11/26/2018 What a wonderful day – a beautiful 77 degrees for a high and humidity in single digits – I would not complain if it stayed like this ALL YEAR LONG. Trimmed back the pomegranate for next years new growth. You have to work slow because they have thorns 5-inches long. OUCH! I need to research how to use them in the blow gun. Need to find a poisonous plant to make into a tar-like substance for dipping. Sorry I got a little dark there but today was the first day back at work and I am not happy with the world right now.
While watching a Christmas movie (Sleepless in Seattle) I was going through a box I inherited when my MIL passed. I put it aside to go through someday, well someday was today (she’s’ only been dead 15 years) and amongst the pieces of paper (my junk – her treasures) I found a photo book about the size of a pocket bible. There were many photos of people, some dated 1946 and even DH could not tell me who they were. It was frustrating because here is history LOST. I need to make sure my photos identify people so in 25-30 years from now their history will continue. There is no one alive who can help us identify the photos. I did find a historical treasure tho. I am guilty of throwing out “stuff” so thank God for the people who don’t – I found a war ration book from 1943.
