I worked on leather projects today and learned how to use a sewing awl correctly. My wife is much better than I am with it but I could use it slowly. Will try some more projects I have in mind. One soon will be a “possibles pouch” to put into my BOB.
I put a backup Sleep Apnea machine in my car that my wife and I can take turns using if we were to get stranded. I also have a connection to be able to use it off the battery. It is not as nice as our new ones but it has kept me alive in the past. I am one of those lucky people who must use it to stay alive. So a limited bug out is doable but I am working on my health to see if I can do better. Again, I am one of the unlucky who had apnea even when at ideal weight and with higher weight just makes it worse.
