Cheryl Greene, I’m so very sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing!  Sending prayers for you and your loved ones.

OldMt Woman, thanks for your input about the powdered honey!  I transfer my liquid honey to glass jars also.  If it crystallizes, I can always put the jars in my Sun Oven to heat them up gently.

Today I visited two new-to-me Amish/Mennonite owned grocery stores in my area.  I was pleased to see that they carry 25 and 50 lb bags of hard (and soft) white wheat berries at good prices, as well as a lot of other bulk food items.  I will be going back soon to purchase some for my food storage pantry.  They also carry canning jar lids in bulk quantities (wrapped in a long brown paper sleeve) at a considerable savings!  One thing I was amazed to see was the variety of types of cocoa powder they carried.  For example, they had: cocoa, Dutch cocoa, “aristocrat” cocoa, and black cocoa.  I’d never heard of the last two types.  Guess I’ll have to look them up to find out about them, although I’m probably just going to stick with Dutch cocoa powder, lol.
