Had to see the chiropractor after setting up 3 Christmas trees. Stocked up on groceries, filled the gas tank, did some Christmas shopping and was enjoying a nice lunch with our daughter when I got a notice on my phone from our police department saying the power was out at our house. Apparently someone slid on the light rain/snow mix that was falling and hit a power pole. We raced home but the power was back on. I reset all the clocks that were affected by the outage while hubby fired up the generator to make sure it would start ok to just play it safe since the power company said it would be an 8 hour outage while they performed their work. We made preps in case the power went out again while they were working on it. They had the street closed cause the power pole was leaning over the street.
