With the wife back home after trying the snowbird lifestyle for a month (before winter has really set in!!) I have now been “directed” into holiday mode. Seems like I just put all those boxes of Christmas decorations away yesterday. My the years go by quicker and quicker. My analogy is that of an old L.P. record. As a kid you are the needle on the outside of the record with it going around very slowly, but as you get on in years, that revolutions goes quicker and quicker and when it gets to the end and the arm lifts up or it just sits there (defending how sophisticated your record player was,) it’s the “end”. I explained this to a friend of mine over an adult beverage a while back. He said it was more like a roll of toilet paper!!! Think about that!! Meanwhile, yesterday and today have been doing battle with the strings of lights for the tree. Have no idea what this has to do with prepping, but I’m sure it does somehow!
The new blower came for the fireplace today. Since it’s raining I’ll probably tackle that job later on this afternoon, although my fix-it on the existing blower isn’t too bad. May wait until the current get real noisy again. Ah, procrastination!!
