Went down to feed the cows and count noses. They were more interested in the alfalfa cubes than the round bale we left them. This may not be a bad thing– hay is scarce this year and anything I can find is really pricey. Blustery day– a storm is coming in tonight and everything feels “broody”. I need to skim the fat off the turkey bone broth and get the rest in the freezer. Then maybe wash the bed clothes and make a list for more supplies. I sure hope we keep up this thread. I’ve enjoyed seeing what all everyone else has been doing; it’s helped keep me motivated for sure!
