So, I”m late to the game. My new job started this past week-end, so between that and the pulled muscle (which is still a royal pain!) I didn’t get much done for 12/1 and 12/2. I’m exhausted, but it was my choice to go back to work. I put away harvest and Thanksgiving decor’ and had the hubby pull the Christmas stuff out of the attic. Today, 12/3, I’m going through the Christmas things and getting rid of the excess. I only have one small granddaugher that visits, so a lot of the stuff geared for small children can be re-homed. I miss the time when I did home day-care and the other grandkids were small. Christmas just seemed more magical. Oh well!! I will also be filling more water jugs. We had use up all but three gallons. Once a year, we drain our hot water tank and our pressure tank and sanitize the plumbing in the house, by chlorinating our well. We had a bacteria problem once, years ago, and the agent from County Health advised doing this to prevent a recurrence. It has worked really well. Test it every year and no problems since. But I don’t like the taste of the water for a couple of days, so we use up the stored water every year. Rotation at it’s best.
