Oh Muffy, I’m sorry “One Second After’ is hitting you that way but it did the same to me. It is a good book, I learned a few things, but so many parts of it can be profoundly depressing. It also made me look at some of our preps in different ways. Husband is Type 2 diabetic but he is not on any medications. He loves to tell people, especially every Dr. we see “I control my diabetes with diet, exercise, and a B*t%y wife!”. On the flip side he has gone from 368 lbs. down to 189 lbs. and he’s been keeping the weight off – therefore NO meds, so at least that isn’t a worry.

As far as accomplishments today we picked up more Coleman propane cans, N95 masks (40), aspirin, Neosporin, Immodium, and a few canning jars. Made some extra freezer jam. But that was it. Starting to get things a little more ready for winter.
