@oldmansd- about a rocket stove, I bought a single burner thing for a gas range to use in mine at a second hand restore. Hardly cost anything but still haven’t made it yet. Will do in the summer, don’t need it now.
Was out of town on the first of December but I’m in. I have to travel again in the middle of the month and I’ll see what I can do then.
Dec 1st I was on the road, gassed up the car, stopped at a candy store to find special candies for a gingerbread house I’m making for a gift for the grandkids. Put some documents on a flash drive.
Dec 2 Did some shopping at goodwill and bought some fleece pants, stopped at Aldi’s and added extra for the SHTF pantry
Dec 3 yesterday, Checked the medicine box to see what I need to add to it, charged handheld radios, did laundry
Dec 4 today- cannibalized some old magazines- by that I mean I saved articles about herbal medicine, gardening, and homesteading that I wanted to put in a binder- then tossed the magazines. I tend to save too much and am trying to pare down so things are easier to find when I want them. I also have a small notebook with the title “where” and have alphabetized pages so I can write down where I put things I don’t use often.
