Another slow day….pretty cold for us but nice sunshine helped later in the day. I’m watching lots of youtube videos about what to do next with my spinach sprouts. They seem to be taking to the grow light…standing a bit taller. I’m going to wait a few more days before trying to thin them out. Got my handyman to fix the attic fold-up stairs…am thinking to put some of my non-food extra supplies up there…placed an order from Amazon for items needed after reviewing the LDS materials about what and how much we should stock up….Perhaps unrelated to prepping but on my mind (I’m old): number three son coming in from out of state for a brief visit, EST 7:30 pm…will be here several days and I plan to ask him to review my “end of life stuff” Although I hope to have many more quality years, I want to have as many things ready for my family as possible when my journey here is finished…baking an apple pie (his favorite)…number 2 son returning from Atlanta with one of the granddaughters who had to go to French Consulate in Atlanta to get the visa she needs to be a student in France beginning in January…she’s the granddaughter who has been helping me the past two years with general housework that I find a bit more challenging to do. I’m really going to miss her. But a younger sister has said she wants to take over. My prayers go out to all of you who are coping with some tough situations. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂
