Yesterday’s post was short and sweet, but I forgot to mention that I cycled the batteries for my handheld ham radio to keep them fresh. Today was much more productive. Put 5 gallons of stored gasoline in my truck, filled the containers with non-ethanol gas and added fuel preservative. Also added another 5 gallons of storage. That’s as much gas as I want to store for safety reasons. While I was refilling the gas cans I also filled up the extra 20 lb. propane tank for the outside grill.
Earlier in the day I attempted to run the coax from my rooftop antenna to my ham radio in my shop. It was 24 degrees outside and there was snow on the roof from several days ago. Needless to say it was very slippery so I decided I would wait until conditions were better or when I have an assistant to man a safety line for me!!
