Hi everyone….quickly before my unsteady Internet service OR computer knocks me off again:
Tried one of the cans of bacon-flavored Spam this morning with FrenchToast. Not bad. I’m not too picky. Greasy. We used to live in a region that actually still eats Spam a lot. Haven’t had it since we moved here but since we’ve stored some…thot we’d try it.
Took dead battery packs out of the 2way radios. Put AAAs on the shopping list. Have some but radios take four each. Need a big pack of batteries to go into Faraday cage with the radios. Checked the solar battery charger ….good. Put rechargeable batteries on shopping list too. I’ve been charging all the AAAs and AAs in the past 3 days. But all are QUITE old….new ones would be advisable. AND JUST NOW OCCURS TO ME: I should be putting new rechargeable ones in the radios…to be charged in their base [until we don’t have elect] I won’t put any batteries actually in the radios tho…not during storage.
And I checked our big wind up/solar charging radio. AM/FM/SW1/SW2. Receiver, not transmit SW. It’s still got a charge from eons ago when I last dragged it out. Alrighty then! All will go back into Faraday enclosure tomorrow.
DH decided to put one of his devices into the Faraday cage also. He was out checking some things in his area of expertise today. Had fun…. LOL
I’ll send this and then go back and see what all of you have been up to today….not trusting my laptop either tonite. Had to reboot and wrangle it a bit to get on here. Hmph.
