I might add that while we do still have power, I have filled up the bathtub in order to provide water to flush the toilets. ( I doubt I would hook up the large generator while the snow is still so heavy just to run the well pump). I have a smaller Honda 2KW that would run the refrigerators and freezer should that be necessary. Alternate heating and cooking sources available, as is potable water.
