Not feeling really great today. Sore throat and congested sinuses. Still visited some friends for a brunch and talked about the state of the country. Came home and did a quick organization project in my shop then decided to surf the coach for a while. I did managed to put my camping and hiking bins and truck supply inventories into my computer. Still need to update my get-home-bag inventory and get it into the computer. Then I can print out a couple copies. Very easy to forget what’s in there when you don’t go through it all the time.
A friend was going to help me string the coax for my ham radio today. He was going to hold a safety line while I scaled the snow covered roof. Unfortunately, I did not have the energy so the project is delayed indefinitely, especially with lots more snow in the immediate forecast. Oh well, I’ll continue to use the mag – mount antenna that I have on top of a metal storage locker for a while longer. It seems to work okay.
I do need to kick this bug. We’ll be traveling starting Monday evening and will be with family on the east coast for a week. Prepping will be limited to planning and writing and helping them if they let me!!
