Hallo Muffy! Thanks! I’m glad you liked the story. Yes, it was a learning experience for sure. We’re already planning how to get the truck out ( we call him “Hanc”; trucks are masculine, yes? At least this one is) and figure if we don’t have much rain between now and next weekend we should be able to dig him out. If not, ew’ll have to call someone to pull him out. The thing is– I used to have spare socks in the truck. I must have taken them inside to wash them and not put them back in. Well. I won’t make that mistake again. When Hanc is back home I’ll have to go through and reorganize what’s in him.
Today was a rest day from yesterday and we needed it. We both woke up sore and tired. So we skipped church to sleep in. I only feel a little guilty, and I’d rather feel guilty than feel sick. We have a function or appointment almost every day this week. Ugh. Today’s prep was reading, which is always fun.
