Oh, my! I look forward to reading all ya’lls post everyday. I want to respond to so many but haven’t yet figured out a way to do that unless perhaps I take notes as I read. Whatever, thank you to everyone for taking the time to tell me a little bit about what you’re doing to prep and just to deal with life. The memory thing….I can empathize there. What is helping me with just the daily keeping it all together has been my serious effort to “declutter” and make certain that everything that is left has a specific place to be. Then it’s just the discipline of making myself put things back immediately rather than letting things hang out for putting away latter. Of course, I have to admit my energy level is considerably less than it once was and I do rely on my sweet granddaughter to help me get caught up when she comes in a couple of times a week after school. Really going to miss that girl unless France keeps “burning” and her parents decide it’s too risky to let her go. Got another order from Amazon today containing mostly things I’ve identified as holes in my pantry/med supplies from the various lists I’ve consulted. Spinach is chugging along. I did transplant a few yesterday into smaller containers. My family thinks my new hobby is cool! Still looking for my seed catalog. Pantry space becoming an issue now. Just going to have to get a bit more creative and, as someone mentioned, keep notes on where everything is stored. Just looked again at a new pillow cover that says “make everyday an adventure.” Yes. Even with my limitations, I can still choose to make each day a little special.
