Prepping today– not much. I got the tree up. Not decorated but up. It’s an old artificial tree whose “needles” are actually some kind of paper, but we’ve had it almost 30 years now and it’s still doing a good job. Alas, we’re not doing Christmas here this year — the kidlets are on their own now– but we’ll get to enjoy it for a while. This is one of those weeks with all sorts of things going on, mostly graduations and office parties– and going to dig the truck out. It’ll be a few days before we can do that, maybe even this weekend. There is a LOT of water moving down there still. The good news is I know where to put in another pond now. I have been doing more reading on prepping but that’s so easy for me that I hate to claim it as prepping.
