Today I put the winter preps to a test. Woke up to about 4 inches of snow on the driveway. Wanted to get it cleared before the wife went into town and smashed it down. The snow thrower won’t move it if it has been compressed. The snow thrower started right up and after about 45 minutes the job was done. The temp warmed up to about 34 degrees (warmest in a week) so any remaining snow melted off by itself. Packing for a trip that starts tonight. Hopefully roads aren’t too bad, but will make sure all the necessary stuff in on board in case we have a mishap.
