December 11: Ordered soapnuts and bigger ziploc type bags for travel laundry kit, and also for storing off-season clothing. Ordered Lifestraws for BOBs/emergency bags plus some extras for stocking stuffers. Otherwise, worked all day and all evening šŸ™

@peppy P – India was indeed fascinating – and hot. We also learned how to get by without refrigeration and still just cook once a day. Lots of ginger, turmeric and lots and lots of hot peppers. I think lots of hot peppers by themselves would do the trick. Americans can’t even imagine how hot real Indian food is. But it works! The poor especially won’t cook more than once a day – time constraints and fuel constraints. The spices make it possible – food will stay good to go for nearly 24 hours even in tropical heat, and then you cool down the spice with lots of rice or flat bread.

@Muffy1938 – Way to go on the winter gardening!

@rufusj – so glad to hear the grandkid is OK. It’s going to be difficult to keep him off that arm, I suspect. And aren’t mouse nests lovely! We lived in a trailer infested with them once upon a time. Yuck! We got cats, and that did the trick.
