Ahh, let’s see. Found out my car is terminal. It’s been in the shop for about a month now and somehow it’s figured out how to get antifreeze into the cylinders. Plus the heat core is broken/messed up/ fundamentally and permanently ticked off. Fixing the car would cost more than the value of it. So … meh. I guess we’ll replace it. (That’s code for DH has new car fever.) Me? I’d like Polaris for the land. Doesn’t look like that’s happening any time soon.
I finished Jerry D. Young’s non-fiction book on prepping, and started the one by Stephen Konkoly. It’s a different approach to prepping, which give a different set of synapses in my brain a workout. Still working on getting the glaucoma meds straightened out. Started the Christmas cards and working on the tree. Most of the shopping is done– yay!
