Beginning of my weekend tonight.Catching up on emails, and bought myself a Christmas present, a big plastic horsie from Amazon that I’ve been wanting. I’ve been collecting Breyer horses since I was a little girl, the closest I could come to a horse. I miss my horses. I’d go out every morning and sit with them while they were eating, before I went to work, just watching them, looking at them. May sound silly but being very visual, an artist, it helps to be surrounded by these beautiful models, so I don’t do something crazy like take on another rescue. I used to tell them, plastic horses next time. So my new horse will come on Monday, lol.
Two of my major projects are finished, just have to take pictures and wrap them up to mail. I’ll do that tomorrow and mail them Monday. Will work on Otis the Basset Hound tonight, wearing his little King crown from one of the Basset rescue events. He is a Christmas present for a client’s wife. The nice part, it’s not a memorial portrait. Have a couple Christmas presents of my own to make still, hope to get them done this week, time is going by really fast. When the holidays are over I am decluttering. I still haven’t put away the summer t shirts.
