Read 4 so so prepper fiction books this week, They all start ok but then they get really stupid. In one book every time a farm animal gets killed by “bad guys” nobody butchered or ate It, they just buried them. Seriously! But they killed and ate their own chickens.
In another silly one they had a plan to wait around in town for a month before heading out to their fall back home were the elderly relatives were expected to be holding down the homestead for a month waiting for them. This was supposedly to allow things to settle down LOL Meanwhile the town is burning down and starving people don’t show up for a several of weeks even though there was no food left anywhere aft a couple of days.
These writers need to do a bit more thinking before they write. Have read some really good stuff too these last few weeks.
Collected more World War Rationing recipes and just did a bunch of research. Christmas was squared away last week.
