Another dreary, gray, rainy day….can’t imagine how folks live where it’s like this most all the time…I need the sun to shine…Checked on the indoor garden and things are definitely looking up…the spinach is finally beginning to make a few more leaves and the onions are at least 8 inches tall!!! I’ll be heading out to MO on Sunday (hopefully less traffic particularly through the St. Louis stretch which is most challenging for me), so I’ll ask my handyman neighbor to check on my little gardening effort every day or so to be sure moisture remains correct….before leaving, I’ll throw my BOB bag in the car along with my new battery power bank…kind of proud of myself that I was able to figure out how to get the power bank fully charged….but the youngest granddaughter had to help me understand that apple products require specific connecting cables…good grief…why can’t all this stuff be standard? While I’m traveling I won’t be able to do much prepping other than continuing to read and look at youtube videos….I’m intrigued with the idea of the rocket stove and thinking to maybe try to do something like that after Christmas, just for fun…hopefully Daisy’s warning signals for total collapse won’t be as bad as some think….whatever, we do the best we can and I am blessed with a faith that gives all the rest to God. I’m praying safe travels for everyone….
