tired tonight so will be brief….ready for drive out to visit family in MO tomorrow….told the spinach of my plans to be gone for several days and they were okay with it….assured them handyman neighbor would be by to water…:) onions going crazy…will be able to cut and use in another week or so…what fun, definitely going to do again….

Was able to persuade my Number 2 son to give a bit more thought to possible EMP situations based on frequent references in more mainstream media…he moved reviewing his food storage higher on his priority list…so much of what we have and do is in freezers so talked some about canning the tons of deer meat he has in freezers….hunters who hunt on his land give him deer every year.
