Christmas Eve. We cooked from scratch. Lots of food was made and consumed here in Philadelphia. Christmas Eve was seven fishes. I am getting pretty good at guessing portions as there was little leftovers. I wrapped gifts in reused gift bags.
Christmas Day. Another day of cooking from scratch. Everyone loves the various homemade salad dressing. My family seems to have gotten it. Many of the gifts under the tree were prepper gifts, including life straws, fire starters, cook books, and manual kitchen tools. Everyone received prepper gifts with smiles and excitement. I was so very excited to receive two Vincent Price cook books that @crowbar recommended.
The crowd left a few minutes ago. It is much cheaper to travel on Christmas Day.
