We had a lovely Christmas with the kids, laughing and remembering Christmases past, and eating way too much. Our grandson had a goosey tummy but he was a trooper and hung in there. He finally crashed right before we left and he’ll probably sleep through the night. Some of the gifts related to prepping, which was fun, but just being together was the best part of it all. Not much prepping today except for reading a few forums, but after washing dishes and laundry and cooking, and then taking dinner up to the kids (an hour away) along with presents, I’m too pooped to do anything else.
But tomorrow is another day!
One thing that’s helpful is the new shelving unit we bought yesterday is already helping out in the pantry. Wow! What a difference! I should have gotten one a long time ago!
