After writing my post about not wasting food, I had to laugh as I just read Daisys post about holiday leftovers. Great minds think alike. Although instead of lots of unwanted gifts, my family just puts that money toward the holiday food budget. It helps that my sister and stepmother are wonderful cooks. My sister studied at a famous culinary institute. At least we don’t waste money on restaurants.
