24th First time I haven’t had to work Christmas eve in years, nice. Got all my projects done, wrapped the presents for the folks here at the barn, exchanged gifts. Wrapped all the family presents, moved into the living room and knitted the afghan to Christmas music until I cast off and tidied up all the sticky out pieces, at 2 am. But I finished it!! Merry Christmas Eve.
25th It was raining lightly when I got up, fed the Rooster and the dog; gathered all the presents and took them out to the car, showered, and went to my daughter’s. We had a wonderful Christmas. She loved the afghan, It’s about 40ish inches wide and 6 feet long, lol, didn’t realize it was so long. Very heavy, goes all the way across the sofa back, all down the middle it is three strands thick, very heavy and warm. Puppy is getting big. It was very fun.
26th back to work. Long clean up now, been focusing on getting projects and orders finished. House is insanely messy. I’d like to focus on that until it is totally done and decluttered, I have four projects to finish. So work on it a bit each night.
