Mouse Wizard…..blocks of poison gone in 3 hrs? Either you worked some wizardry with your mice or…..do you have larger hungry vermin? Or you have quite a horde of the vile creatures! Were the blocks in a box so they couldn’t be carried off…but no, you said they were large blocks…??? Wow! …..so your mention of rodent poison made me curious. I crawled under to see about the block [ 2″ x1″x1″ ] in a box under the bed. We put it there what…..about a month ago? I did see teeth marks but it was still intact. And I haven’t heard any more crunching/scurrying. Did not see any foul ‘leavings’, either. Garage seems to be ok too. [but I’ve said that before and been totally disappointed ] I wish you success in getting rid of those vermin!!
Hieronyma….So sorry you had such a frightening trip. Glad your son’s advice was sound and you’re all safe. Relax, enjoy. Prepare for your daughter’s upcoming needs. Prayer for you all.
Corsaire…congrats on your continued microwave challenge. I like reading the interesting research topics you delve into!
Muffy…safe travels!
AmyDixon….what a great gift ideas….both the repackaged blueberries and the “mysterious” trash can. LOL
rd Lucai….thanks for mentioning elderberry gummies. I just went to Search for it and found a recipe. Copy-pasted into my file for herbal-Medical-wildcrafting.
I was pretty flattened by all the [low key for most folks] stimulation to system yesterday. Did make it out to walk dog tonite while DH did other critters. Was snowing, blowing, dark….but not dusty! 🙂 Snow was brief…too brief for our drought.
Read several of Daisy’s recent articles. Our leftovers get re-made with new titles or get eaten too quickly. Might have to save some ham in freezer temporarily. Makes such good soup. I don’t have the bone tho.
I began a new stretching routine….I plan to stretch legs while waiting impatiently doing hair. Worked well yesterday. I hate wasting time plugged into the wall – waiting on the curling iron. Hmph!
