Well, I woke feeling pretty awful.  I was shaking/trembling but on the inside.  Only a little showed in hand tremor.  Hopefully only a result of so much activity [for me] on Christmas. Tried with no success to get a follow up medical appt. after the recent testing…with no luck.  Hmph!  “Corporate” and “Medical” should not be so linked. Our tiny clinic was much better before the huge corporation bought them.  Still have to follow the rabbit down THAT hole till I succeed in getting an appt and schedule for ….whatever.  Thot an hour on hold listening to music was painful enough, eh?

So it was a computer research day!  NOW I am brain-dead.  But the internal shaking has receded.  \0/   Spent so many hours……I start with one article and then follow the links to a website I haven’t seen before….and follow their stuff and more links and …..  It was all homesteading/prepping topics.  I’m certainly not new to prepping/homesteading/farming/camping/etc.  Been doing it some aspects all my life.  But I sure found plenty of new/interesting things….or old things I needed to study again. So much more I want to look at.  And my brain was actually taking in data today pretty well  🙂   ….until now.  Brain is now fuzzy.  x_x

I copy/paste a lot and save into my computer files.  I have plans to print quite a number of them when DH gets the printer out later in the winter.  Don’t have room to have it up here most of the time.  I have many 3-ring binders for various categories.  I like to keep computer files and physical ones organized into topics and sub-topics….so I can easily find them.

Started with water….copied some specifics on using pool shock [calcium hypochlorite]. I rarely use bleach in laundry due to septic tank so it weakens before the bottle is barely used.  Also did some math for boiling water at our very high altitude.  All of that copied for future reference.  Research on coconut oil.  As I went along, I added to my Shopping List I keep in a file on the computer desktop.  [I have things color-coded! LOL ]

DH was busy getting some business things set up on his computer.  Dog thot the day was boring!

Oh…I finally placed 3 of the small LED flashlites.  DH and I each have a small RED Grab-N-Go First Aid bag.  So a flashlite went into each of those …and I told him it was in there.  I placed the 3rd one in a larger bag that could go if we had time/room.  A larger quantity of supplies in that one.  DH positioned another new flashlight in the very darkest corner of our garage.  That makes 3 down there too.  It’s not well lit and that darkest corner is the Rip and Run stuff that would go out the big door in an EVAC.  [hope he remembered to remove the bit of paper that keeps the battery separated from the wiring…]

Glad to hear of safe arrivals; sorry to hear of more illness.  We’re being very proactive about illness, as always.  I never quite got whatever was trying to invade.  So hard to keep kiddos from getting sick – they are so exposed constantly.
