Yesterday we got shed cleaned out and most of the Christmas decorations put away. Still haven’t gotten to canning what is in freezer yet. Hubby is sick with a virus again. This happened 2 weeks ago as well. Think part of it is he is just run down and needs to build his resistance up again. Working on that. So since we missed church because of his not feeling well, I checked out the end of clearance sale from Patriots supply. They had a 75% off clearance. So I ordered organic seeds for this spring. Also long term foods like coffee, potato soup and chicken noodle soups. Though I make the soups as well, it is still nice to have a few long term foods on hand. You never know when the garden might not do well do to weather and other conditions. We have had that happen and lost much of our garden several years ago to flooding rain. Though now we have just a back yard garden as a 7-11 sits on the land we did use. It was poor soil but we did good for about 3 years on it. Thinking of waiting now to do the canning till hubby feels better and things are back to normal.
