We haven’t had any snow yet this season and now that Christmas is over, I am ready to get outside and start the garden. On Sunday we burned the pile of brush, branches, twigs, etc that were in the garden. It was a perfect day for this chore. In fact two others on our road burned yesterday, too. I am impatiently waiting for my seed catalogues. I like to have an actual catalogue in my hand, not on a computer screen. Going to CA for a month will keep me out of the garden for now. And I am sure the bad weather will be coming soon.
My son stopped and took my sour dough starter to feed while I am gone. I have been using this starter for over 30 years, and he knows how important it is to me. He said he may have to FaceTime with me when it is time to feed it so that he can do it right.
