My wife’s birthday is today so she had a pretty good day. I made her breakfast and dinner all from scratch.
Went to town to get something for my leather work on my new axe. Have made some progress in making a sheath for it and a leather protection below the axe head.
Wanted to make some more fire starters….we went to goodwill yesterday and found some candles on a good sale with 1/2 half off that. Red tag day… But I checked out the drying here in our apartments and was only a little lint. When we were down town we went into a laundromat close by and asked if we could have some lint. Got the expected look but was told to come back at 10 pm and we could have some when they clean out the vents. We just went back down and got quite a bit.
My wife and I will be going over what 2018 highlights and low lights there were and what we need to start doing now. Been five months since not having new retirement or disability money coming in. So that is of course on our minds. We were supposed to find out today but they needed one more thing…now we find out on Wednesday. If the answer is no…then we just go ahead and file for Social Security but it is a little too soon so I will lose some. But then we can get on with our life….Not that we have not been having fun.
