Exactly! Freedom and Free Speech are simply a propagandist slogan. The funny thing is that intelligent people actually regurgitate such obviously false claims.
A recent article just stated that 50% of the population has a direct family that has seen a jail cell. Then there’s the fact that America has the highest incarceration rate in the world, with many benign infractions being felonies. A felony is all it takes to lose your firearm priviledge, so unconstitutional disarmament started decades ago, yet the majority of the population agree with disarming these American’s, while still claiming to be free beings.
Just because you still have a right, doesn’t mean it hasn’t been infringed. People are being charged with concealed weapons charges for having a steak knife under the clutter they have in their vehicles and simply forgetting to bring it into their house after a bbq in the park.
We are not free, so have so much more to be fighting for than keeping further restrictions at bay. We need to be fighting for the 3/4 of our freedoms we lost long ago…
