<span style=”font-size: large;”>When the January topic of doing it from scratch was announced, thought I’ll learn lots.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>But won’t have anything to contribute now. Foo!</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>From 1975-2000 we lived on a farm in the Oregon coast range.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Had a huge garden, raised sheep and were frugal (poor).</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Lots of things done were by guess or by gosh.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Talk about a learning curve!</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>But wait! For over 50 years I’ve done research to find better, or at least some, solutions for health/medical issues.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Three very important things i found:</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>The same things don’t work for everyone. (Dr.s please take note!)</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>The same things don’t work for yourself every time.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Do NOT give up.*</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Answers come from unexpected sources.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Personal case #1.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>My jaw had been hurting all the time for years.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Many things, including TMJ, had been ruled out.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>I even tried the copper earring idea!</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Desperate, I went to neurologist and was told it was all in my head. (*almost did)</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>As a last gasp, went to a dentist.. figured it couldn’t be that cause wisdom teeth out.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>He listened to my tale of woe and said “Your back is out of place”.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>WAIT! WHAT!</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Because of the way he had to bend for work, his went out frequently.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>He gave me the name of his chiropractor (in ’68 they were regarded as quacks).</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>It took a year for the muscles to shorten or lengthen and stay in place.</span>
<span style=”font-size: large;”>Dr. Stevens was an MD who was so discouraged at seeing many of his patients not helped by back surgery, he went back to school to learn chiropractic techniques!!</span>
