@harbinger James Mitchner, I’m surprised the dog handler didn’t encourage the dog to “startle.” I’m sure police dog handlers do this often, encourage the dog to startle as if it had detected drugs when it hadn’t. The cops are desperate to get into people’s cars because of civil asset forfeiture! If they find cash or valuable electronics or any other goodies in your car, they can steal it, claiming they suspect it was the fruit of a crime. Remember they don’t have to prove anything to steal our stuff, they need only claim suspicion.
