@woodsrunner I like banana face masks. I bananas but I often have one or two that go brown. I use them in hair or face masks. Last night I made a soothing banana face mask with a little honey. My skin feels wonderful.
This morning, I made a banana hair mask. One very ripe banana and about 2 tbsps olive oil. You can use a fork to mash it up and get as smooth as possible. I leave it on for about 20 minutes as I have dry hair.
A fellow Captain taught me these diy treatments on one of my first desert deployments. The chow hall usually had very ripe bananas, honey packets, milk, sugar and olive oil. We used these for our own beauty treatments.
I forgot to tell Daisy that she can use my posts. Most are pretty simple things, but I think stringing these simple things together are what make a good habit and form a lifestyle.
