The liquid fabric came out good except I don’t like the lavender smell, but that was the only essential oil I had on hand. I used an empty vinegar container to mix and store the softner in so I could shake it each time I use it.
The recipe is: 2 cups hot water. 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup vinegar and a few drops of essential oil. Mix the hot water and baking soda so the soda dissolves, then add the vinegar and the essential oil and stir. Add 1/4 cup to the rinse cycle.
Today I made homemade biscuits and sausages and made enough to last a few days. I substituted 7-UP for buttermilk and added sour cream along with some shortening for the biscuits and for the sausages I mixed garlic powder, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and cumin to spice the sausage up a bit.
