I made pancakes this morning, and then we noticed the furnace was louder and running more than normal. After lunch we took pictures of how the inside all looked, then started dismantling it. Found a clogged hose fitting area. Put it all back together, which was harder than taking it apart, but it runs less often and so much quieter. In the past we would have called the furnace repair person, but thanks to this challenge, we decided to do it ourselves. Hubby showed me his glove he wears when he is blowing snow and asked if I thought I could fix it. The seam had come apart and it took a little effort on the sewing machines part, but I managed to sew the seam back together and he didn’t have to buy new gloves. Yeah, this challenge is really putting us through our paces.
