Jan 1: we are raising meat chickens. Feeding and watering is an ongoing task. Just a couple more weeks to go, and they will be ready for the freezer.
Jan 2: I soaked overnight and then cooked a big pot of homemade pinto beans with the bone leftover from the holiday ham. Served with cornbread! Yum! And frugal!
