Focusing on the negative as opposed to the positive is where I have problems with many of the people in this “industry”.
Ten years in LE showed me the worst in human behavior. I can be optimistic about the time spent and lessons learned or I can wallow in the effects of the PTSD.
Same with the news today. I can put my focus on the negative around the world or the positive. Building, creating, prepping. And prepping is a positive action, creating a better future, rather than riding out the misery.
Daisy and Selco both are in the industry of course but there is a difference in the attitudes and teaching that I have observed. That working to build something better, to improve, not just fending off the mutant zombie bikers.
I could be completely off base, but with the predictions mentioned earlier, you can only hear about creeping socialism so many times before you tune it out. Year after year after year, it becomes just words, a buzzing in the ears. Or hearing how Pelosi is a viscous nasty woman, we already know that, and you can’t change the minds of her supporters regardless of where the information is posted.
With that, I will stick to what positive things that I can, like finalizing the plans for my water catchment/hydroponic system to make the greenhouse more effective.
