Well, we used “homemade” metal/lead to make holes in paper today. Since it was such a WARM day in January. Interesting searching out the metal that melts thru the snow. We’ll find the rest in the spring. DH was testing different pressures and was pleased with results of his latest. I needed a refresher on which end was up ….not really but this one was stiff and my fingers are weak. But I found safe ways of adapting and made it work. Pointing where it needs to go is not usually a problem for me… which defies that fact that I don’t practice much. Was fun.
Later while DH cleaned things up, I made stew from last of beef roast. Carrots from my friend’s garden…have to use soon. Getting a little limp. Goats like them ….and also get the banana peels. One way to compost…thru goats. Potatoes, onions, garlic…the usual.
